MicroNet Systems Integrations is a Managed Service Provider that can quickly respond to a breach once we are aware that a cyber threat has occurred.  We monitor your systems closely and most times we will know even before you do.  If by some chance you know about the breach first… submit a ticket or call MicroNet SI immediately.

Although there is nothing you can do to ensure a breach never happens, there are a lot of things you can do to minimize a breach occurring and if one does happen there is a lot you can do to contain and minimize the damage.  If hackers are posting illegal content on your company website, chances are sensitive data and emails have been accessed by outside unauthorized users. It’s also a possibility that your data is being held hostage to ransomware. This is seriously everyone and every business’ worst nightmare!

Call us at MicroNet Systems Integrations we will assess the situation and offer expert advice and support to help you repair the breach, minimize damage, alert users as well as assess the situation afterward so you can strengthen your cybersecurity defenses for the future.

A good Managed Security Services Provider (MSSP) will ensure you quickly respond to a breach once you let them know an incident has occurred. A great MSSP will have been monitoring your systems closely and already know a breach has occurred, possibly even before you do. If, for some reason, your MSSP doesn’t already know about the breach, the first thing you should do is contact them for advice.

Find Out How the Incident Occurred

Before you can respond properly to the incident, you need to know exactly what happened.

  • Was software not kept up to date?
  • Did an employee click on a site or  link in a phishing email or on the web?
  • Was a company laptop left unattended and stolen?
  • Were you targeted with ransomware?

Once you know exactly what happened and what systems and files were accessed, you can work quickly to address the incident, thoroughly assess the damage, and take the necessary next steps.

Implement Your Incident Response Protocols

If you don’t already have incident response systems and protocols in place at your business you should put these in place.  It is a plan that allows you to respond properly to a specific threat or issue.  Let all employees know the expectation in advance so it is a useful to to help keep your critical data safe.
